A Starting Point for Growth and Opportunity
The IndigiRise Pre-Employment Program is specifically designed for Indigenous youth and adults who are preparing to transition into the workforce or pursuing further training but need a supportive foundation to begin. Many existing employment services focus solely on placement; however, we recognize that true readiness comes from personal growth, identity, and the practical confidence required to navigate workplace environments.
The program provides a supportive, culturally grounded environment where participants explore their strengths, set personal and professional goals, and build the essential soft skills—communication, workplace expectations, and problem-solving—that are critical for long-term success. It is a space for individuals to see their potential and identify the next steps in their own career or educational journey.

For many Indigenous individuals, systemic barriers, limited access to professional networks, and a lack of culturally relevant training create distance between where they are and where they want to be. Foundational supports are essential before jumping into specific jobs or technical training.
